Vacation Spot: The Pug Caves of Northern Wales
Looking a spot to catch some R&R this summer? Consider the Pug Caves of Northern Wales.
Though the vacation spot is only accessible by boat, it is nonetheless popular, attracting nearly 35,000 visitors each year. The best times to visit are mid summer — during mating season, and early fall, for the arrival of the puppies.
Hiking to the caves takes about two hours (plus the hour long ferry ride) and is moderately difficult. Wear close-toed shoes and bring a sweater — the caves can get chilly even in summer.
